- The 8 3/8” tomahawk head is cast stainless steel with a black oxide coating and satin finish highlighting
- It has a 3 1/2” razor-sharp blade edge on one side, a piercing point on the other side and the head has recessed circle patterns and the M48 logo
- The rugged fiberglass reinforced handle has custom, heavy texturing for a slip-free grip and is secured to the head by three heavy-duty bolts
- The 15 3/4” overall tomahawk slips into a tough, Vortec and nylon blade sheath, which features a belt frog design for ease of carry
